Good Morning TSJ Peeps,
I thought you would appreciate what is happening here at the TSJ headquarters. You can gather from this picture that, as with all of life, each dawn brings new possibilities. May I encourage you to read this lightly today?
Here is a glimpse of SJ and our newest team member, Lovey, sitting together and quietly talking things over as they look toward a new day at TSJ.
It is Wednesday and they decided to talk amongst themselves.
Lovey was sitting on the couch looking out the window and SJ called out to me to lift him up beside her. Just that alone makes me giggle and realize that small things can bring rays of sunlight into our hearts. Playful thoughts lift the spirit.
Although Lovey is lavender in color and scent, and she is a “she,” as well as a lamb, and some competition for attention, SJ is starting to understand why she is here.
Solomon is teaching SJ that life always has a larger picture than the part we can see with our mortal eyes. Solomon also is carefully instructing SJ in the way of Divine Love.
As far as I can tell from careful listening, here is what Solomon has been beaming into SJ’s young heart this week. . .
First of all, Solomon noticed that sometimes SJ’s attitude was keeping him from being his playful and more endearing self. Specifically, Solomon was concerned about his attitude toward Lovey’s arrival at The Shared Journey. So he reminded SJ that resentment, fear of not being number one all the time, or not being important (because people seem to pay attention to Lovey) will not be good for his health and well being and will rob him of joy that he deserves.
Solomon is very, very fond of SJ and wants him to be healthy and energetic again. It saddened him to see his young follower wander from the path of love, gratitude, and wonder.
Solomon’s simple wisdom for SJ’s physical well being:
No matter if we are sad, frustrated, anxious, worried about our children, financial troubles, health problems, or whatever the earth journey is presenting us…we all need to do one thing to get through….and that is breathe. We need oxygen to live. It is as basic and beautiful as life itself. So Solomon did some breathing with SJ this week. It seemed to help dislodge SJ’s negative emotions from resentment back to being more playful and grateful.
You and I are like SJ. If you pay attention closely you will notice the number of times in a day when you deprive your body of needed oxygen. When things build up in our minds to create stress we often hold back from receiving the most essential element of life in our earth bodies. And it is free . . . (!)
Oxygen. Every cell in our bodies need it.
When you resist the flow of air into your lungs and body you build up toxins, making it difficult to function at peak capacity.
We know this. We just forget. Today is a reminder that even as we share this moment in your week you can breathe while you read. Slowly and deeply.
Solomon suggests you receive a full amount of oxygen as you read his name. He promises it is simple and is a miracle minute every time you do so.
Solomon’s next lesson: Love is Oxygen for the Soul
You can see in the picture above that “love wins” the day. SJ has been sharing a lot with little Lovey about TSJ and Mr. Tom and Solomon.
By the way, I heard him say she is lucky to be here “because there is a lot of love here on earth and Solomon says Love is like oxygen–only to our souls.” I wish I could have heard what he told her when she asked, “What is our soul, SJ?” I think he mumbled something about asking Solomon later.
But SJ did speak up a bit while looking over at Solomon (for approval of course) …. and said, “We are all loved. You see, with true love from the Unseen Source there is no such thing as first, best or last with Love. There is always enough for everyone. Hey, maybe you are here to teach me that lesson since your name is “Lovey!”
And Solomon says, “Just like we all have enough air to breathe no matter who we are, there is enough love for all.”
Sounds simple but is so profound it’s ultimate truth and power often eludes us.
Solomon grinned his broad grin and said, “That’s a good place to start. We will talk more about oxygen for the soul other days. But for now, remember to breathe deeply and love freely as you play in the pastures today.”
Margie and Solomon
